TRIDEC is located in two locations:

• In the Netherlands (in Son) is TRIDEC's headquarters. This is where product development, sales and service take place.
• In Portugal (in Murtede-Cantanhede) is the production site.

TRIDEC has 190 employees of which 140 are based in Portugal and 50 in the Netherlands. TRIDEC's 'core business' is the development and production of mechanical and hydraulic steering systems and axle suspensions for all types of trailers. These systems are used in trailers ranging from distribution to heavy transport. TRIDEC uses top quality materials and has a strict quality policy. In addition, TRIDEC is establishing a Mechatronic branch. TRIDEC is the only independent manufacturer with a full program of these systems in Europe and supplies trailer builders all over the world. Since its founding in 1990, the company has continuously grown economically.

As Project Manager you will work for the TRIDEC site in Son as well as for the production site located between Porto and Coimbra in Portugal. You report directly to the Managing Director based in Son. Next to that you play an important role in supporting the Management Team. You draw up reports, play a role as PMO officer in R&D projects and initiate projects yourself where necessary.

Your position as Project Manager at Tridec

You, as Project Manager will work directly under the Management Team of TRIDEC. This Management Team is responsible for all the strategic and operational decisions that impact the organization on all levels and within all departments. TRIDEC is project driven, both within R&D and within the other departments. In this role, in consultation with the MT, you will initiate and execute projects that contribute to the development of the organization on a strategic level. The projects are broad in nature and focused on the long term, to further grow TRIDEC. Examples include, but are not limited to, projects related to Operational Excellence, improving the Supply Chain, increasing quality and making the organization more profitable. In addition, within certain projects you play the role of Project Management Officer, supporting the Technical Project Manager. In addition to your direct reporting line to the MD of Tridec, you have a functional reporting line to the Head of Strategy at the JOST group. This gives an extra charge to the role and provides potential for the future in terms of your advancement opportunities within a large multinational organization.

• Nature of work:
  Able to work in a team context as well as automously. Ad hoc decisions may change the direction of a project. You, as the Project Manager will take the lead and dive deep into the matter in order to make the best decision possible.

• Budget:
  Ownership and management of the budget during a project, as well as researching opportunities for future savings.

• Stakeholder management:
  As a Project Manager, you communicate flexibly with multiple stakeholders, distributed across different categories and functions.
• Project management:
  Capable with various project management techniques (frameworks), such as Agile and Waterfall, enabling you to make a project a success and take the organization to the next level.
• Innovation:
  You are always busy with possible innovations that can take TRIDEC further. Within the organization you are given the freedom to discuss this with management and, if positive, to devote a concrete project to it. Besides this, you ensure that various disciplines within TRIDEC adapt to the changes.
  
  

Your profile

We are looking for a high potential at TRIDEC who wants to grow together with the organization. You are proactive, curious by nature, can quickly interact with multiple layers within the organization and feel responsible for the quality of your work and related processes.

• You have completed a Bachelor or Master degree.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in Project Management.
• You are fluid in in English. Dutch is a nice to have.
• Experience with multidisciplinary, strategic projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile, Prince2, Waterfall or other Project Management frameworks.
• Open to travel for about 10% of your time to Portgual or Germany
